At Edgio, we take your data seriously. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

Account: your email address and your password (the password is encrypted/hashed by our authentication provider, we never have access to it in clear text).
Data you enter: your trading accounts, sessions, goals, trade ticks, notes, mood, tags, rules, results — in short, whatever you record in the app.
Minimal technical data required for the service to work (e.g. session identifiers).

We do not collect banking data directly: subscription payments (where applicable) are handled by our payment provider Stripe, which processes that information securely.

3. Why (purposes) and legal basis

Providing and syncing the service (trading journal) — legal basis: performance of the contract (our terms of use).
Manage your account and subscription — performance of the contract.
Sending you communications (news, tips) — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Hosting and processors

Supabase: database and authentication (region: Europe (European Union)).
GitHub Pages: site hosting.
Stripe: payment processing (where a subscription applies).

These providers act as processors and offer security guarantees compliant with the GDPR.

5. Retention period

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them, write to contact@edgio.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

7. Cookies and local storage

Edgio uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. The app only uses local technical storage required for login and normal operation.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) and access to your data is protected: each user can only reach their own data.
