Leon Banner

Leon Banner has been trading index futures and gold intraday since 2020. He built Edgio after realising his losses came not from his setups but from what he did between two trades. He writes from his own journal, not from theory.

I trade index futures and gold intraday, with fixed risk per trade and a hard session stop. I went through the same stages as most readers of this blog: strategies that worked in backtest and not live, days ending at −6R after a −1R stop, months spent looking for a better setup when the problem was somewhere else.

Edgio came out of that: my losses came not from my setups but from what I did between two trades. I started scoring the trader before scoring the trades, and the cross-references I got became the product.

What this blog publishes, and what it never will

Every article starts from a real difficulty raised by traders — comments, forums, conversations with Edgio users — not from a keyword picked for its search volume. The subject comes from the field; the keyword comes after.

  • No signals, no buy or sell recommendations. Edgio is a journalling and behavioural analysis tool, not an investment adviser.
  • No promise of profit, no account screenshots, no "method that works 90 % of the time".
  • Nothing published without human review. Writing tools help upstream, preparing subjects and outlines; no article goes live without being read, corrected and approved line by line by me.
  • No article left to rot. Articles are reviewed and updated; the date of the last update is shown at the top of every page.

Corrections and contact

A factual error, a reasoned disagreement, a request for clarification: contact@edgio.fr. Corrections are made in the article itself, and the update date is changed accordingly.
